The Mark of the Beast The one who practices, sin is lawlessness, separating themselves from God, and offending God by action or neglect or by tolerating wrongdoing—being unrestrained by His commands and His will 1John 3:4. acts of disobedience, indifference, or rebellion they show they belong to the devil and take his inner character and moral values from him, not God] 1 John 3:8 (666) Gods excape plan for His children Trubulation 1. The Warning for Those Who Take the Mark Revelation 14:9–11 (ESV) "And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, 'If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink the wine of God's wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.'" 2. The Punishment of the Devil Revelation 20:10 (ESV) "And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever." 3. The Final Judgment of Both Revelation 20:15 (ESV) "And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire." Summary The Scripture makes a direct link between the fate of the devil, the beast, and those who take the mark: all are cast into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the torment is described as eternal ("day and night forever and ever"). In Jesus' words elsewhere in Scripture, this destination is explicitly described as being prepared for the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:41 "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.'" Christianity, the most lawless religion on earth You can be sure the False Prophet and the Man of Lawlessness will certainly come from the only religion that has promoted and pushed Lawlessness (not obeying God’s Laws) since the beginning. Keeping in mind that Christianity, the most lawless religion on earth since it actually forbids observing God’s Law, is over 30% of the world, so we got our first indication of what kind of percentage we might be looking at taking the mark. If you do the things God hates and refuse to keep His commandments and encourage others to do the same, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” NOT THE MARK OF GOD “YEHOVAH” The Mark of the Beast 16 And the second beast required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark— the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18 Here is a call for wisdom: Let the one who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and that number is 666. The Messages of the Three Angels 6 Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. 7 And he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.” 8 Another angel, a second, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who made all nations drink the wine of the passions of her sexual immorality.” 9 And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.” Matthew 10:21-22 21 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. 22 You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. T his self-reflection test is designed to cut through the confusion and fear often surrounding this topic. In Scripture, the "marks" are not about hidden microchips or literal ink tattoos; they represent ownership, allegiance, and what rules your mind (the forehead) and your actions (the hand). Answer Yes or No honestly to each question to examine whose mark you bear in your daily life. The Allegiance & Identity Test The Ultimate Authority: When a choice comes down to following God’s explicit commandments versus following the crowd, the culture, or human convenience, do I choose God's way? The Mind (The Forehead): Is my mind primarily occupied with Scripture, truth, and how to honor God, rather than being consumed by the fears, anger, and philosophies of the world? The Actions (The Hand): Do the physical works of my hands—my labor, how I spend my money, and how I treat my family and neighbors—reflect God’s righteousness and justice? The Source of Security: In times of economic trouble or societal pressure, do I rely entirely on God to provide for and protect my household, rather than putting my ultimate trust in human systems? Open Allegiance: Am I willing to stand firmly for my faith and God's truth even if it means facing disapproval, loss, or being cut off by others? Worship in Truth: Is my worship rooted in an internal reality and a desire to keep His laws, rather than just an empty ritual or a standard routine to look good to others? Understanding the Biblical Meaning In the Bible, the concept of a "mark" is deeply symbolic of identity and ownership. It shows who has your allegiance. The Mark of God (The Seal) : In the Book of Revelation and Ezekiel, God places a seal or mark on the foreheads of those who belong to Him. This mirrors Deuteronomy 6:8, where God tells His people to bind His commandments as a sign on their hands and as frontlets between their eyes (their foreheads). It means your thoughts and your actions are dedicated to keeping His laws. The Mark of the Beast: This is the direct counterfeit. It represents a mind (forehead) and a lifestyle (hand) that has completely surrendered to the world's corrupt system, willful disobedience, and rebellion against God's commandments for the sake of survival, comfort, or fit-in convenience. "Bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." — Deuteronomy 6:8-9 "Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads." — Revelation 14:1 Reflecting on Your Answers If your life aims toward "Yes": Take heart. If you are actively striving to keep God’s commandments, relying on His Spirit, and trusting Him for your security, you bear the identity of a child of God. Perfect performance isn't the metric—the direction of your allegiance is. If you see areas of "No": It is a clear reminder of where the world or the flesh is trying to press you into its mold. If fear of the future or the pressure of the culture is driving your choices rather than God’s word, it is an invitation to draw a line in the sand. Repent, refuse to bow to worldly compromise, and commit your mind and hands fresh to the Lord today. 14 Because of the signs it was given to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived those who dwell on the earth, telling them to make an image to the beast that had been wounded by the sword and yet had lived. 15 The second beast was permitted to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship it to be killed. 16And the second beast required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead,… The Mark of the Beast seal is not a physical mark. The forehead represents the mind of those who make a consonance decision to disobeys God Commandments, and The mark on the hand represents worship on Sunday. forsaking Gods Sabbaath Saturday Something to think about Nebuchadnezzar's Dream Worship the beas t Daniel 3:9 They said to King Nebuchadnezzar, “Long live the king! 10 You issued a decree requiring all the people to bow down and worship the gold statue when they hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes, and other musical instruments.the statue was made for a specific purpose. With it, the king would demand total obedience and humiliation from his governmental underlings. And Daniel warns the dream means that God's Kingdom is coming to crush all other kingdoms (Daniel 2:44). But Nebuchadnezzar ignores the warning and builds a 90-foot tall statue (or image) of himself. He demands that all his politicians bow down and worship his image (Daniel 3:1, 5). 4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. 5 You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him, there is no sin. 6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. 8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him - Revelation 12:9 Because of the signs it was given to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived those who dwell on the earth, telling them to make an image to the beast that the sword had wounded and yet had lived. - Revelation 13:14 You can be sure if the whole world is deceived this will include Christians, Muslims, Jews, and Atheists alike. But what percentage takes the mark? It’s not hard to determine who will wield the mark if you eliminate doctrine and preconceived notions. The beast is that which “…will speak out against the Most High and oppress the saints of the Most High, intending to change the appointed times and laws; and the saints will be given into his hand for a time, and times, and half a time.” This change of appointed times and Laws happened in 364CE when the Law was changed and the 4Th Commandment was replaced, moving the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday in the Council of Laodicea. The “saints” were also mandated to be oppressed by canon law in the very same council and have been at the mercy of the Beast ever since, until 1948 . The Beast, none other than the Roman Empire that “destroyed the holy city and the sanctuary”, then suffers a mortal head wound, Caesar, but does not die. Instead, it is reborn the Holy Roman Empire with a Pope at its head. Certainly not all of them, but if my guess is close, it will be many. Christianity is the only religion that accepts a “man” to be “God”, Judaism and Islam will never accept a human claiming to be God. This is the very “Man of Lawlessness” that will sit in the holy place and declare himself God—something the Romans have always enjoyed doing to their rulers.

The choice is yours to continue to follow the church, the man or scripture, the inspired word of Yehovah, which leads to life. Or follow man which leads to dea Circa dodici anni fa frequentavo un gruppo di studio biblico per uomini. Yehovah salva

Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. 13 But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Saremo tutti giudicati! Giovanni 14:15 Se mi amate, osserverete i miei comandamenti. Dio vi sta trattando come figli. Infatti, qual è il figlio che suo padre non disciplina? Cos'è il peccato? video

The Millennial Kingdom. Mortal humans in the Millennial Kingdom Download Resurrected, glorified Saints. In the Millennial Kingdom Download Yehovah perfect Law Scripture outlines a comprehensive, theocratic legal system that governs the earth during the Millennial Kingdom. The foundational blueprint is that Torah goes forth from Mount Zion under the direct, righteous administration of King Yeshua (Isaiah 2:2–4; Micah 4:1–3). Rather than anarchy or a purely abstract rule, the prophets outline specific international, civil, ceremonial, and dietary statutes that will be kept across the globe. 1. International and Civil Law: Torah from Zion The global legislative and judicial center of the entire earth during the 1,000 years will be Jerusalem: Universal Disarmament and Ban on Warfare: National armies, weapons production, and warfare are legally outlawed across all nations (Isaiah 2:4; Micah 4:3). Weapons are mandated to be beaten into agricultural implements ("swords into plowshares and spears into pruning hooks"). Direct Judicial Verdicts by King Yeshua: International disputes between nations and peoples will no longer be settled through military conflict, treaties, or corrupt tribunals. Yeshua arbitrates and decides controversies between nations with perfect justice, equity, and righteousness (Isaiah 11:3–5). The "Rod of Iron" Enforcement: Open criminal conduct and willful disobedience are met with swift, unyielding divine justice (Psalm 2:9; Revelation 19:15). Prolonged spiritual rebellion among mortals results in immediate physical accountability (Isaiah 65:20: "the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed"). 2. Universal Worship and Sacred Calendar Laws Specific religious statutes apply not only to Israel, but to all Gentile nations across the earth: Mandatory Observance of the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot): Representatives from every surviving Gentile nation on earth must make an annual pilgrimage to Jerusalem to worship King Yehovah of Hosts and celebrate Sukkot (Zechariah 14:16–19). Penalty for Non-Compliance: Any nation that refuses to go up is struck with severe drought (withholding of rainfall) and plagues until they yield. The Seventh-Day Sabbath (Shabbat) and New Moons (Rosh Chodesh): The weekly Sabbath remains a commanded day of worship when the inner court's East Gate is opened and the people gather (Ezekiel 46:1–3). Isaiah 66:23 confirms global observance: "From one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before Me, says Yehovah." Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread: Observed starting on the 14th day of the first month (Nisan) for seven days, with the Prince preparing designated burnt, grain, and sin offerings (Ezekiel 45:21–24). Total Ban on Idolatry and False Religion: Pagan altars, occult practices, false prophets, and idolatry are eradicated globally (Zechariah 13:2; Zechariah 14:9). Yehovah alone is acknowledged as King over all the earth. 3. Priestly, Ceremonial, and Temple Ordinances Ezekiel 40–48 details clear statutes that regulate the Millennial Temple and its ministers: Exclusivity of the Sons of Zadok: Only the priests descending from Zadok are permitted to draw near to Yehovah's altar to minister and offer the fat and the blood (Ezekiel 40:46; 44:15–16). Judicial and Educational Duties of the Priesthood: The priests are legally charged with teaching the people to discern between the holy and the common, and between the clean and the unclean (Ezekiel 44:23). In civil controversies, the priests stand as judges to render decisions based on Yehovah’s judgments (Ezekiel 44:24). Ceremonial Purifications (Kipper): Sacrificial offerings (burnt, peace, sin, and grain) are administered to cleanse physical fixtures (altar, gateposts, sanctuary) from the ceremonial uncleanness of mortal life (Ezekiel 43:18–27; 45:18–20). 4. Dietary and Purity Laws Physical distinctions of purity remain actively enforced among mortals: Clean vs. Unclean Distinctions: Priests explicitly instruct the mortal population on biblical purity and dietary standards (Ezekiel 44:23). Prohibition of Carrion: Priests and worshippers are forbidden from consuming any bird or mammal that dies naturally or is torn by beasts (Ezekiel 44:31). Prohibition of Swine and Abominations: Isaiah 66:17 specifically condemns the eating of swine’s flesh, mice, and unclean creeping things as an abomination before Yehovah. Clean Seafood Harvest: The healed waters of the Dead Sea support net fishing from En Gedi to En Eglaim, producing fish of the same kinds as the Mediterranean Sea (clean fish with fins and scales, Ezekiel 47:9–10). 5. Civil, Economic, and Land Laws Economic righteousness and property protections are enforced under the rule of the Prince: Honest Weights, Measures, and Currency: Standardization of commercial balances is strictly enforced: an honest ephah (dry measure), an honest bath (liquid measure), and an honest shekel without inflation or deceit (Ezekiel 45:10–12). Protection of Private Property: The Prince is expressly prohibited from seizing the people's land or forcing citizens off their family inheritance (Ezekiel 45:8–9; 46:18). Restoration of Tribal Allotments: The boundaries of the twelve tribes of Israel are permanently assigned and protected across the Holy Land (Ezekiel 47:13–48:29). 6. The Internalized Law of the New Covenant For redeemed Israel and the righteous, compliance with Yehovah's law is not mere outward legalism. Under the New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:31–34; Ezekiel 36:26–27), the Holy Spirit gives mortals a new heart and puts Yehovah's laws into their minds, enabling them to walk willingly in His statutes with gladness and peace. Yehovah Sacrifices The mention of animal offerings in the Millennial Temple (Ezekiel 40–48) centers on the holiness of Yehovah and the finished redemption accomplished by Yeshua the Messiah. Because Scripture emphasizes that Yeshua offered one sacrifice for sins forever (Hebrews 10:10–14), these millennial offerings do not provide spiritual or eternal salvation. Instead, the sacrifices described by Ezekiel serve three distinct, harmonious purposes during the 1,000-year reign: 1. Ceremonial Cleansing & Spatial Purification (Ritual Atonement) In Ezekiel, the Hebrew word translated "atonement" is kipper, which fundamentally means to cover, cleanse, or purge. During the Millennium, mortal human beings (who enter the earthly kingdom, marry, have children, and can die; Isaiah 65:20) will live in proximity to the manifest Shekinah glory of Yehovah dwelling visibly on earth: The Absolute Holiness of Yehovah: Yehovah is holy, and His manifest presence cannot dwell among ceremonial uncleanness or the natural contamination of mortal life. Purification of Physical Structures: In Ezekiel 43:20, 26 and Ezekiel 45:18–20, the blood is applied directly to inanimate objects—the horns of the altar, the four corners of the ledge, the doorposts of the Temple, and the gateposts of the inner court. Its purpose is to "cleanse" and "purge" the sacred space. Flesh vs. Spirit: Animal blood under the Old Covenant never removed eternal guilt; it provided outward, ceremonial purity for the flesh (Hebrews 9:13). In the Millennium, it functions as a ritual barrier, preserving the sanctity of Yehovah’s house so that a holy God can dwell among mortal mankind. 2. A Tangible Memorial of the Cross Just as the ancient offerings looked forward to the sacrifice of Yeshua in prophetic anticipation, Millennial sacrifices look backward in solemn commemoration: A Physical Memorial: In the present age, believers observe the Lord’s Supper with bread and the cup in remembrance of Yeshua's broken body and shed blood (1 Corinthians 11:24–26). In the Millennial reign, visible offerings serve a parallel commemorative purpose before the nations. Instruction for Mortal Generations: Billions of mortals will be born during the 1,000 years in a world where Satan is bound and the righteous rule of Yehovah prevails across the earth. Because these generations will not experience war or rampant evil, the stark, bloody reality of animal sacrifice will serve as an unmistakable visual lesson: It demonstrates the horrific nature and cost of sin before Yehovah. It reinforces that every blessing, life, and peace in the kingdom was purchased entirely by the blood of Yeshua, the Lamb of God. 3. Communal Worship, Fellowship, and Theocratic Tribute A significant portion of the offerings detailed in Ezekiel are peace offerings (shelem) and grain offerings (minchah): Fellowship Meals: Peace offerings were shared and eaten by the worshippers and the priests in joyful communion before Yehovah (Ezekiel 46:21–24). The outer courts of the temple contain dedicated kitchens specifically built for preparing these shared meals. Covenantal Expression : It provides redeemed Israel—restored to their ancestral land under the Davidic covenant—with a concrete way to honor Yehovah through priestly order and grateful praise. Global Pilgrimages: As foretold in Zechariah 14:16–19, the Gentile nations will journey up to Jerusalem year after year to worship King Yehovah of Hosts and celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot), presenting their offerings in unified thanksgiving. What They Are vs. What They Are Not What Millennial Sacrifices Are NOT What Millennial Sacrifices ARE Not for the forgiveness of eternal sinsA memorial pointing back to Yeshua's finished redemption Not a replacement or competitor to Calvary A teaching tool for mortal generations born during the Millennium Not salvific (redemption remains entirely by grace through faith)Ceremonial decontamination (kipper) of the temple precinct before Yehovah Not a reinstatement of the Mosaic Covenant A distinct Millennial order administered by the faithful Sons of Zadok Yehovah Feast Days In the Millennial Kingdom, Scripture describes a restructured sacred calendar focused on the direct worship of Yehovah. Several ancient biblical convocations return, while others are deliberately omitted in light of fulfilled redemption. 1. The Major Annual Feasts In Ezekiel 45:21–25 and Zechariah 14:16–19, two annual pilgrimage feasts are explicitly commanded: Passover (Pesach) and the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Chag HaMatzot): Scripture: Ezekiel 45:21–24 Timing: Begins on the 14th day of the first month (Nisan / Abib) and lasts seven days. Observance: Unleavened bread is eaten throughout the week. Daily offerings of seven bulls and seven rams without blemish, a male goat for a sin offering, and accompanying grain and oil offerings are prepared by the Prince (Nasi). Significance: Originally memorializing Israel’s deliverance from Egypt, in the kingdom it endures as an everlasting memorial to Yeshua, the true Passover Lamb whose shed blood accomplished eternal redemption. The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot / Feast of Booths): Scripture: Ezekiel 45:25; Zechariah 14:16–19 Timing: Begins on the 15th day of the seventh month (Tishrei) and lasts seven days. Observance: Daily offerings corresponding to those of Passover are presented before Yehovah. Global Mandate: Zechariah declares that survivors from all Gentile nations must travel up to Jerusalem annually to worship King Yehovah of Hosts and celebrate Sukkot. Any nation that refuses to go up will receive no rain and will face divine plague until they comply. Significance: It celebrates Yehovah dwelling physically and visibly in the midst of mortal humanity through King Messiah reigning from Mount Zion. 2. Regular Weekly, Monthly, and Seasonal Observances Alongside the annual pilgrimage festivals, Ezekiel details recurring cycles of regular worship: The Weekly Sabbath (Shabbat): Scripture: Ezekiel 46:1–5; Isaiah 66:22–23 The East Gate of the inner court remains shut during the six working days but opens on the Sabbath. The Prince presents a burnt offering of six lambs and a ram without blemish, and the people of the land worship at the entrance of the gateway. Isaiah 66:23 states that from one Sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before Yehovah. The New Moon Celebrations (Rosh Chodesh): Scripture: Ezekiel 46:1, 6–7; Isaiah 66:23 The East Gate opens to welcome the beginning of each biblical month. Offerings consisting of a young bull, six lambs, and a ram are presented in worship before Yehovah. Sanctuary Consecration Days: Scripture: Ezekiel 45:18–20 On the 1st and 7th days of the first month, a young bull without blemish is offered to cleanse and ritually purify the sanctuary, the doorposts of the Temple, and the court gates. 3. Feasts Notably Absent from Ezekiel Several prominent Mosaic convocations from Leviticus 23 are not mentioned in the Millennial Temple: Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur): Omitted entirely from the annual calendar. Yeshua offered one all-sufficient sacrifice for sins forever (Hebrews 10:10–14). Repeating Yom Kippur for the eternal removal of guilt would run contrary to His finished work on Calvary. The Millennial purifications deal strictly with physical sanctuary holiness (kipper), not spiritual justification. Feast of Weeks / Pentecost (Shavuot): Not mentioned in Ezekiel's prophetic calendar. Historically connected to the wheat harvest and the initial outpouring of the Holy Spirit to birth the Church Age (Acts 2), that harvest is now complete. Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah): Not mentioned. The prophetic call of the trumpet signaling the regathering of Israel and the arrival of King Messiah has already taken place prior to the start of the 1,000-year reign. Summary of the Kingdom Calendar Cycle Weekly: The Seventh-Day Sabbath (Shabbat) Monthly: The New Moon (Rosh Chodesh) First Month (Nisan) : Days 1 and 7 (Sanctuary Purifications); Days 14 through 21 (Passover and Unleavened Bread) Seventh Month (Tishrei): Days 15 through 21 (Feast of Tabernacles / Sukkot, mandatory for all nations) In the Millennial Kingdom, Scripture distinction between the mortal resurrected, glorified saints. The saints enter the 1,000-year reign having already undergone the "First Resurrection" (Revelation 20:4–6) or translation (1 Corinthians 15:51–53; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17). They do not live as ordinary mortals; instead, they serve as the administrative, judicial, and priestly leadership of the global kingdom under King Yeshua and Yehovah. 1. Ruling, Judging, and Reigning with Christ The primary role assigned to glorified saints in the Millennium is co-regency—governing the nations alongside Yeshua: Enthroned with Judicial Authority: Revelation 20:4 states that thrones are set, judgment is committed to the saints, and they live and reign with Christ for a thousand years. The Promise to the Overcomers: In Revelation 2:26–27, Yeshua promises that whoever overcomes will receive authority over the nations to rule them with a rod of iron, sharing in the authority given to Him by His Father. Daniel's Prophetic Vision : Daniel 7:27 declares that the kingdom, dominion, and greatness under the whole heaven will be given to the saints of the Most High, whose dominion is an everlasting kingdom. Judging the World and Angels: In 1 Corinthians 6:2–3, the Apostle Paul points directly to this governing role, asking believers if they do not know that the saints will judge the world and even judge angels. 2. Concrete Administrative Appointments Scripture does not present reigning as symbolic or passive; it involves specific geographic and civic administration over mortal cities and regions: The Apostles Over the Twelve Tribes: Yeshua specifically promised His twelve disciples direct judicial authority over the restored tribes of Israel in Matthew 19:28 and Luke 22:29–30, stating they will sit on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes. Authority Over Cities (The Parable of the Minas) : In Luke 19:17–19, faithful stewardship in this age translates to real civic responsibility in the Kingdom, with servants appointed over five or ten cities. 3. A Royal Priesthood The saints do not merely execute civil justice; they function as a royal priesthood bridging the presence of God and the mortal world: Priests to God and Christ: Revelation 20:6 states that those who take part in the first resurrection are holy and blessed, serving as priests of God and of Christ, reigning with Him for a thousand years. Kings and Priests on the Earth: Revelation 5:10 confirms that the redeemed are made kings and priests to God to reign on the earth. Resurrected saints assist in teaching Yehovah’s ways , discipling mortal nations, and guiding mortals into true worship as the law goes forth from Zion (Isaiah 2:2–4). 4. Physical Nature and Spiritual Condition The saints’ physical existence in the Millennium is fundamentally different from that of mortal humans: Glorified, Immortal Bodies: The saints have put on incorruption and immortality (1 Corinthians 15:42–54), patterned after Yeshua’s resurrected body (Philippians 3:20–21; 1 John 3:2). They are tangible and capable of speaking, eating, and interacting, yet completely free from sickness, fatigue, pain, or death. Neither Marrying Nor Dying: In Luke 20:34–36, Yeshua explains that while mortals in that age marry and have families, those counted worthy of the resurrection neither marry nor are given in marriage, nor can they die anymore, being equal to the angels and sons of the resurrection. Total Immunity from the Second Death: Revelation 20:6 specifies that over the glorified saints, the second death has no power. When Satan is loosed at the end of the 1,000 years to deceive the mortal nations (Revelation 20:7–9), the glorified saints remain entirely beyond temptation, deception, or danger. Contrast: Resurrected Saints vs. Mortal Inhabitants Body and Nature: Resurrected saints possess immortal, incorruptible, glorified bodies (1 Corinthians 15:52). Mortal inhabitants live in natural flesh-and-blood bodies (Isaiah 65:20). Lifespan: Resurrected saints live eternally and can never die (Luke 20:36; Revelation 20:6). Mortal inhabitants have vastly extended lifespans lasting centuries, but remain subject to physical death (Isaiah 65:20). Family Life: Resurrected saints do not marry or reproduce (Luke 20:35). Mortal inhabitants marry, bear children, and raise families (Isaiah 65:23). Kingdom Calling : Resurrected saints serve as kings, priests, and judges executing divine rule with Christ (Revelation 20:4–6). Mortal inhabitants live as citizens, farmers, builders, and worshippers under that rule. Final Rebellion: Resurrected saints are completely secure and immune to deception. Mortal offspring born during the Millennium still possess free will, and a portion will be deceived when Satan is released at the close of the 1,000 years (Revelation 20:7–8). What does Scripture say about daily life, lifespan, and family for mortal humans in the Millennial Kingdom? While resurrected and glorified saints possess immortal bodies (neither marrying nor dying, Luke 20:35–36), Scripture teaches that mortal survivors of the nations enter the Millennial Kingdom in natural, earthly bodies (Matthew 25:31–40; Zechariah 14:16). The Old Testament prophets—especially Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Zechariah—provide vivid details about what daily existence, lifespan, labor, and family look like for these mortal populations during the 1,000-year reign of Yeshua. 1. Lifespan and Physical Health During the Millennium, the curse on creation is substantially rolled back, returning human life expectancy to conditions resembling the pre-Flood era of the patriarchs. Reversal of Infant Mortality: "No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days..." — Isaiah 65:20a Infant death, miscarriages, and early childhood loss will no longer be part of normal life. Every child born will have the opportunity to grow to full maturity. Centenarians Considered "Youth": "...For the child shall die one hundred years old, but the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed." — Isaiah 65:20b A person passing away at 100 years of age would be regarded as someone dying in their youth. Dying at that age is described as an anomaly tied to divine judgment on willful defiance under the King's righteous rule. Lifespans Like Trees: "For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, and My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands." — Isaiah 65:22b Like deep-rooted, long-living trees (such as oaks or olive trees that live for centuries), mortals will routinely live for hundreds of years throughout the Millennium. Healing and Vitality: "Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing." — Isaiah 35:5–6 Widespread disease, birth defects, and chronic disabilities will be removed as the supernatural blessing of Yehovah rests upon the earth. 2. Family Life, Marriage, and Children Unlike resurrected saints, mortal humans will continue to marry, form households, and raise families: Fruitful Generations: "They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth children for trouble; for they shall be the descendants of the blessed of Yehovah, and their offspring with them." — Isaiah 65:23 Parents will raise children without the constant fear of famine, war, kidnapping, or sudden calamity cutting their lives short. Peaceful Communities and Play: "Old men and old women shall again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each one with his staff in his hand because of great age. The streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in its streets." — Zechariah 8:4–5 Scripture paints a picture of tranquil domestic safety—multi-generational families where great-grandparents sit in town squares while children play openly without fear of predators, crime, or violence. 3. Daily Work, Agriculture, and Economics The curse of frustrated, fruitless labor found in Genesis 3 is lifted. Labor remains, but it becomes deeply rewarding, stable, and productive: Secured Ownership and Enjoyment of Labor: "They shall build houses and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat..." — Isaiah 65:21–22a Throughout human history, war, invasion, unfair taxation, and predatory landlords frequently stripped working people of what they built. In the Kingdom, mortals permanently enjoy the physical fruit of their own hands. Abundant Agricultural Yields: "‘Behold, the days are coming,’ says Yehovah, ‘When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; the mountains shall drip with sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it.’" — Amos 9:13 Crops will produce so abundantly that the harvest season will run directly into the next planting cycle. Domestic Peace and Quiet: "Everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one shall make them afraid; for the mouth of Yehovah of hosts has spoken." — Micah 4:4 The ancient idiom of sitting under one's own vine and fig tree describes self-sufficient private property, safety, and an absence of state tyranny or economic oppression. 4. Harmony in the Natural World Mortal humans will work and live in an environment where nature is no longer hostile: Tamed Animal Kingdom: "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them... The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den." — Isaiah 11:6–8 Carnivorous hostility ceases, venomous creatures pose no danger, and dangerous beasts become docile companions even around toddlers. Deserts and arid wastelands will blossom with cedar, acacia, myrtle, and olive trees, with fresh springs gushing in barren wildernesses (Isaiah 35:1–2, 7; Isaiah 41:18–19). Summary of Mortal Life in the Millennium Lifespan: Vastly extended to hundreds of years; child mortality eradicated; death at 100 considered premature or disciplinary. Family: Marriage and childbirth continue; generations grow up together in secure, stable homes free from war and terror. Daily Labor: Meaningful building and farming; complete protection of personal property and full enjoyment of one's harvest. Environment: Total ecological harmony, abundant rainfall, fertile land, and an animal kingdom stripped of predation and venom. Government: Direct equity and peace flowing from Mount Zion, where disputes are settled fairly without courts of corruption or military conflict.

False Salvation God cannot stand the prayers of anyone who disobeys his Law.Proverbs 28:9 Is Simple Salvation the Truth? False Salvation You were born into a ready made religion Can a Christian be Unconverted? Real Salvation 4 signs of a True Christian A true sign that Christians recognize Yeshua is our only Savior, therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of Yeshua will be saved.” True Christians keep the Law of God. True Christians walk as Yeshua walked and lived. True Christians must overcome sin. Spiritual Blindness The spiritually blind hear the truth, but they cannot see what it means. They cannot see the “big picture” of salvation, and they are unable to see how it applies to their own life. They have trouble confessing the truth because they have difficulty believing what they cannot see. For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; What are the 18 steps to salvation? Hear the Gospel. (Matthew 4:17John 8:32) Believe the Gospel (Hebrews 11:6, John 20:31) Repent of past sins (Luke 13:3, Acts 17:30) Confess faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:10, Matthew 10:32) Be Baptized (Galatians 3:27, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38) Be faithful unto death (Revelation 2:10) For all who obey him eternal salvation Hebrews 5:9 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.1 John 2:6 But don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. James 1:2 And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. Romans 8:1 We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.” Acts 5:32 “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.Romans 10:13-15 For But if thou wouldest enter into life, keep the commandments. Matthew 19:16-26 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life…John 3:15,16 For we live by faith, not by sight. (Hebrews 11:6) And without faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.2 Corinthians 5:7 And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.” John 3: Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”John 3:3 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.James 2:17-23 Barns Group survey. "Believers don't care what the truth Is, or care what Yehovah desires from us. We are afraid of looking into, it because it will draw a line in the sand, we know we don't want to make those decisions because at the end of the day, we want what we want, we are comfortable with our lives we are comfortable out traditions that are man-made. But you have a thought that pops into your head that's not what it means to me. The issue is it doesn't matter to you it matters to Yehovah He is the one being worshiped." The problem facing the church is not that people lack a complete set of beliefs the problem is that have a full state of beliefs in mind, which they think are consistent with biblical teachings, and they are neither open to being proven wrong nor learning new insights. The bottom line is among both clergy and laity. Revelation 22:14 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Acts 5:32 We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.” 3

God detests the prayers of a person who ignores the law. Yeshua said, “This is how you should pray: “When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. YEHOVAH Proponents emphasize that Yehovah (יְהֹוָה) is not a 16th-century Christian invention. It is documented with full pointing in over 1,000 Hebrew Bible manuscripts, including prominent early texts like the Leningrad Codex and the Aleppo Codex. They argue Masoretic scribes who guarded letter-by-letter accuracy would not have recorded "mistaken" vowels across centurie The Consonants (יהוה / YHWH): Appear 6,828 times in the Hebrew Masoretic Text. In the Dead Sea Scrolls (dating 2,000+ years ago), scribes often wrote these four consonants in archaic Paleo-Hebrew script to set the sacred Name apart from the surrounding square Aramaic-Hebrew script. 1,000 times across other medieval manuscripts), while the shortened two-vowel form served as the standard scribal reminder (qere perpetuum) to pronounce "Adonai". Throughout the Hebrew Scriptures, Yehovah (YHWH) reveals His nature, character, and standards through direct declarations ("I am..." or "Thus says YEHOVAH and prophetic oracles spoken in the first person. Here are the primary things God declared about Himself across key categories: His Eternal Nature and Exclusivity He alone is God; there is no other: "I am Yehovah, and there is no other; besides Me there is no God." — Isaiah 45:5 He is self-existent and unchanging: "I AM WHO I AM." — Exodus 3:14 "For I, Yehovah, do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed." — Malachi 3:6 He transcends time (the First and the Last): "I am the first and I am the last; besides Me there is no god." — Isaiah 44:6 He created everything alone: "I am Yehovah, maker of all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by Myself." — Isaiah 44:24 Truthfulness, Faithfulness, and Promises He cannot lie or change His mind: "God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do it? Yehovah Shammah (יְהוָה שָׁמָּה) – "Yehovah Is There" (dwelling present). Yehovah Rohi / Ro'i (יְהוָה רֹעִי) – "Yehovah Is My Shepherd." Yehovah Mekoddishkem (יְהוָה מְקַדִּשְׁכֶם) – "Yehovah Who Sanctifies You" (sets you apart as holy). Here is a list of key Bible verses that demonstrate God's proactive, sacrificial love for humanity, especially while people were still broken and distant: John 3:16 – God demonstrated the magnitude of His love for the world by giving His unique Son, ensuring that everyone who believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. Romans 5:8 – God proves His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners and completely undeserving, the Messiah died on our behalf. 1 John 4:9–10 – The love of God was manifested among us when He sent His only Son into the world so that we might live through Him; real love is defined not by our love for God, but by His initiative to send His Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Ephesians 2:4–5 – Because of His immense mercy and the great love with which He loved us, God brought us to life with the Messiah even when we were spiritually dead in our transgressions and sins. 1 John 3:16 – We understand what true love is through this concrete action: Yeshua the Messiah laid down His own life for our sake, setting the standard for how we ought to love. Romans 8:31–32 – Since God did not spare His own Son but willingly delivered Him up for us all, we have the certainty that He will generously give us all things needed for life. 1 John 4:19 – We are empowered to love God and others because He first took the initiative to love us. Titus 3:4–5 – When the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us not because of righteous deeds we had accomplished, but solely according to His own mercy and washing of renewal through Yeshua the Messiah. Galatians 2:20 – The life of faith is lived in reliance on the Son of God, Yeshua, who personally loved us and willingly gave Himself over for us. Jeremiah 31:3 – Yehovah declared to His people from of old that He has loved them with an everlasting,17 unconditional love, continually drawing them with His enduring loving kindness (chesed). Zephaniah 3:17 – Yehovah your God is a mighty Savior in your midst who rejoices over His people with gladness, quiets them with His love, and exults over them with singing. Here is a list of key Scriptures from the Torah, the Prophets, and the New Testament that explicitly warn of judgment, ruin, and doom resulting from forsaking and disobeying God's commandments: Deuteronomy 28:15 – "But if you will not obey the voice of Yehovah your God or be careful to do all His commandments and His statutes that I command you today, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you." The chapter outlines extensive warnings of disease, drought, defeat before enemies, and national ruin. Leviticus 26:14–17 – Yehovah warns that turning away from His statutes and breaking His covenant brings terror, sudden panic, consumption, fever, defeat by adversaries, and fleeing when no one pursues. Proverbs 13:13 – "Whoever despises the word br ings destruction on himself, but he who reveres the commandment will be rewarded." Proverbs 28:9 – "If one turns away his ear from hearing the law [Torah], even his prayer is an abomination." Isaiah 1:19–20 – "If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be eaten by the sword ; for the mouth of Yehovah has spoken." Isaiah 5:24 – "Therefore, as the tongue of fire devours the stubble, and as dry grass sinks down in the flame, so their root will be as rottenness, and their blossom go up like dust; for they have rejected the law of Yehovah of hosts, and have despised the word of the Holy One of Israel." Jeremiah 11:3–4 – "Thus says Yehovah, the God of Israel: Cursed be the man who does not hear the words of this covenant that I commanded your fathers when I brought them out of the land of Egypt." Ezekiel 18:24 – "When a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice and does the same abominations that the wicked person does, shall he live? None of the righteous deeds that he has done shall be remembered; for the treachery of which he is guilty and the sin he has committed, for them he shall die." Hosea 4:6 – "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge , I reject you from being a priest to Me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children." Matthew 7:21–23 – Yeshua warns: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven , but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven... And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness [torah-lessness].'" Matthew 7:26–27 – Yeshua warns that anyone who hears His words and does not do them is like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand : the rain fell, the floods came, the winds beat against that house, and it collapsed in complete ruin. John 3:36 – "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him." 2 Thessalonians 1:7–9 – Warning of the day when the Master Yeshua is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel, suffering the punishment of eternal destruction. Hebrews 10:26–27 – "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries." 1 John 2:3–4 – "And by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. Whoever says 'I know Him' but does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him." Revelation 22:14–15 – "Blessed are those who wash their robes [keep His commandments], so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood." Core Biblical & Theological Significance 1. Covenant Renewal After Radical Failure The context is critical: Israel had just broken the covenant through idolatry (the Golden Calf). Under strict, unmitigated justice, the covenant was void. By proclaiming these attributes, God demonstrated that His relationship with humanity is anchored not in human perfection, but in divine mercy that makes restoration possible. 2. The Asymmetry of Grace Over Judgment In verse 7, God states that He stores up chesed (steadfast love) for thousands of generations, while visiting iniquity upon the third and fourth generation of those who hate Him. The arithmetic of God's character is overwhelmingly weighted toward compassion: thousandfold grace far outlasts generational consequence. 3. Complete Coverage of Human Moral Failure The trio in Attribute 10–12 covers the entire taxonomy of sin: Avon (Iniquity): Premeditated wrongdoing or inner distortion. Pesha (Transgression) : Defiant revolt against God's authority. Chata'ah (Sin): Unintentional failings and human weakness. By explicitly mentioning all three, the text emphasizes that no category of human failure lies beyond the reach of divine pardon when accompanied by genuine repentance. 4. The Biblical "Liturgical Anchor" Whenever biblical figures found themselves or their communities in existential peril due to disobedience, they invoked this exact formula to appeal to God's self-revelation: Moses at Kadesh-barnea (Numbers 14:18): When the people refused to enter the Promised Land, Moses appealed directly to these words to stay judgment. Jonah’s Lament (Jonah 4:2) : Jonah admitted he fled to Tarshish precisely because he knew God embodied these attributes and would spare Nineveh if they repented. The Prophets and Psalms (Joel 2:13, Micah 7:18–20, Psalm 86:15, Psalm 103:8): The phrase erech apayim ve-rav chesed ("slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love") became the primary Old Testament definition of who God is. Throughout the Scriptures, the judgments (mishpatim) of Yehovah appear not as arbitrary outbursts of anger, but as judicial verdicts rendered by the Judge of all the earth. Biblically, God’s judgments fall into distinct categories: universal cosmic judgments, verdicts against pagan nations, covenant discipline on Israel, and individual accountability. Here is a structured overview of the major divine judgments recorded in Scripture: Universal & Ancient World Judgments The Judgment in Eden (Genesis 3): Following the rebellion of Adam and Eve, God issued judicial sentences affecting mortality, childbirth, labor, and the serpent, establishing the fundamental rift between humanity and creation. The Great Deluge (Genesis 6–8): Enacted because "the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." The verdict reset human civilization while preserving Noah's family through the Ark. The Dispenser of Tongues at Babel (Genesis 11): Human arrogance attempted to make a name for itself and avoid filling the earth; God’s judgment scattered humanity by confounding their languages. Judgments Against Corrupt Cities & Pagan Empires Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 18–19): After an inquiry into their systemic cruelty, oppression of the poor, and sexual degradation (Ezekiel 16:49–50; Genesis 18:20–21), fire and brimstone fell upon the cities of the plain. The Ten Plagues on Egypt (Exodus 7–12): Directly identified as a judgment against the gods of Egypt (Exodus 12:12) and against Pharaoh's systemic enslavement and infanticide of the Israelites. The Canaanite Nations (Leviticus 18: 24–28, Deuteronomy 9:4–5): God explicitly noted that their expulsion was not due to Israel’s righteousness, but because the land had become defiled by their practices, including child sacrifice through fire to Molech. Assyria / Nineveh (Nahum 1–3): While spared a century earlier under Jonah's preaching, Nineveh was eventually brought down due to ruthless imperialism, violence, and decei t. Babylon (Jeremiah 50–51, Daniel 5): Judged for imperial hubris, the destruction of the Temple, and King Belshazzar's desecration of the sacred vessels , culminating in the handwriting on the wall: "Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin." Covenant Discipline on Israel & Judah Under the terms of the Mosaic Covenant (Leviticus 26, Deuteronomy 28), God warned that persistent unfaithfulness and idolatry would bring progressive covenant judgments designed to call the nation back: The Wilderness Generation (Numbers 14): After rejecting the report of the Promised Land at Kadesh-barnea and refusing to trust God, the generation aged twenty and older was sentenced to wander the wilderness for 40 years until they perished. The Northern Kingdom / Samaria (2 Kings 17): In 722 BC, the ten northern tribes fell to the Assyrian Empire and were scattered due to persistent idolatry, golden calf worship, and rejecting the prophets. The Destruction of Jerusalem and the Babylonian Exile (2 Kings 25, 2 Chronicles 36): In 586 BC, Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the first Temple and deported Judah because of decades of covenant treason, shedding innocent blood, and ignoring the land's Sabbath rests. Individual & Direct Judgments Scripture also highlights direct divine judgments executed against specific individuals for flagrant breaches of holiness, pride, or deception: Individual / Group Offense Judgment Reference Nadab and Abihu Offered "unauthorized fire" before the Lord contrary to His command Struck by holy fire at the Tabernacle altar Leviticus 10:1–3 Korah, Dathan, and AbiramLed an open, rebellious revolt against Moses and Aaron's God-given leadership The earth opened and swallowed their households Numbers 16 UzzahTouched the Ark of the Covenant to steady it, disregarding the prescribed carrying polesStruck dead instantly for irreverence 2 Samuel 6:6–7 King UzziahPresumptuously entered the Temple sanctuary to burn incense, a duty reserved strictly for priests Struck with incurable leprosy on his forehead 2 Chronicles 26:16–21 King Herod Agrippa I Accepted the crowd's praise hailing him as a god rather than giving glory to Yehovah Struck down by an angel and eaten by wormsActs 12:21–23 Ananias and Sapphira Conspired to lie to the Holy Spirit regarding the proceeds of their land sale Dropped dead on the spot before the apostles Acts 5:1–11 Principles Governing God's Judgments Rooted in Exhaustive Knowledge: God never acts on hearsay or assumptions; He inspects the heart and acts only after thorough investigation (Genesis 18:21; Jeremiah 17:10). Preceded by Patient Warning: In nearly every case—from Noah preaching before the flood, to centuries of prophets warning Israel, to Jonah in Nineveh—judgment comes only after extended periods of divine patience (Erech Apayim). Redemptive Intent: For God's covenant people, divine judgments are remedial rather than purely punitive, functioning as parental discipline (musar) meant to purge evil and produce repentance (Hebrews 12:5–11; Hosea 6:1). To "fear God" (Yir’at Yehovah in Hebrew, יִרְאַת יְהוָה) is one of the most misunderstood phrases in Scripture. In modern English, "fear" almost exclusively means fright, terror, or the instinct to shrink away from danger. In biblical thought, however, the fear of the Lord is not the dread of a cruel tyrant that makes you run away and hide. Rather, it is a profound, awe-filled reverence and moral seriousness that draws you in, aligns your priorities, and anchors your obedience. Moses captured this paradox directly at Mount Sinai: "Do not fear, for God has come to test you, that the fear of Him may be before you, that you may not sin." — Exodus 20:20 Notice Moses says: Do not be terrified ("do not fear"), yet cultivate the fear of Him. The goal is not cowering paralysis, but transformative reverence. 1. The Hebrew Concept: Yirah The primary Hebrew word is יִרְאָה (yirah). While it can describe natural fright (like meeting an enemy in battle), when directed toward God it takes on a distinct meaning: Holy Awe and Wonder: Recognizing the staggering gap between the Creator and the creature—His infinite holiness, sovereignty, and power versus our finite frailty. Appropriate Weight: Treating God with ultimate seriousness rather than casual familiarity. It is understanding who He actually is and responding accordingly. A helpful analogy is standing at the edge of the ocean or watching a Category 5 hurricane. You aren't necessarily terrified if you are safe, but you are gripped by immense respect and sober awe. You would never treat the open sea casually or carelessly. 2. What the Fear of God Looks Like in Practice Scripture defines the fear of the Lord not as an abstract feeling, but by its tangible fruits: A. Hating and Turning Away from Evil "The fear of Yehovah is to hate evil; pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate." — Proverbs 8:13 "By the fear of Yehovah one turns away from evil." — Proverbs 16:6 The fear of God acts as an internal moral compass. When no one else is looking, a person who fears God refrains from wrong not because they might get caught by human authorities, but because they know God sees the heart and cares about righteousness. B. The Foundation of Wisdom and Clear Thinking "The fear of Yehovah is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight." — Proverbs 9:10 Biblically, wisdom (chokhmah) is skill in living life as God designed it. You cannot even begin to see reality accurately until God is placed at the center of the equation. Treating God as secondary or irrelevant is, by biblical definition, the starting point of foolishness (Psalm 14:1). C. Walking in His Commandments "And now, Israel, what does Yehovah your God require of you, but to fear Yehovah your God, to walk in all His ways, to love Him, to serve Yehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul..." — Deuteronomy 10:12 Notice how Deuteronomy pairs fearing God with loving Him and walking in His ways. Fearing God and loving God are two sides of the same coin: love prevents fear from degenerating into cold dread, while holy fear prevents love from deteriorating into shallow presumption. 3. Slavishe Fear vs. Filial Fear Theologians have long distinguished between two types of fear: Category Servile / Slaves' Fear Filial / Children's Fear Root Motivation Dread of punishment; panic over getting caught Deep love, loyalty, and reverence View of God Harsh, arbitrary, looking to strike down A righteous Father whose approval matters above all Resulting Action Running away, hiding, deceit (like Adam in the garden)Drawing near in humility, repentance, and obedience Ultimate Concern"What will happen to me?""Will this dishonor or grieve Him?" A healthy son respects and "fears" a strong, loving father—not because he thinks his father will destroy him, but because he honors his authority, values his character, and dreads breaking his trust. 4. The Biblical Promises to Those Who Fear Him Far from bringing anxiety, Scripture repeatedly associates the fear of God with deep peace, protection, and intimacy: Intimate Friendship: "The friendship of Yehovah is for those who fear Him, and He makes known to them His covenant." — Psalm 25:14 Compassion: "As a father has compassion on his children, so Yehovah has compassion on those who fear Him." — Psalm 103:13 Protection and Provision: "The angel of Yehovah encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them... for those who fear Him have no lack!" — Psalm 34:7, 9 Confidence and Life: "In the fear of Yehovah one has strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge. The fear of Yehovah is a fountain of life..." — Proverbs 14:26–27 In short, to fear God is to fear nothing else. When God holds His rightful, supreme place in a person's life, every other human fear—fear of man, fear of circumstances, fear of the future—loses its grip.

Is Easter pagan? The great Easter fraud Passover Passover (Pesach) is one of the most God mandated Jewish holidays, with several core observances explicitly required by God in the Torah (primarily in Exodus 12–13, Leviticus 23, Numbers 9, and Deuteronomy 16). These are considered divine commandments (mitzvot) rather than later rabbinic customs. Here are the main ones that are directly commanded in the Torah: Remove all leaven (chametz) from your home — On the first day (and for the full seven days), you must eliminate yeast/leavened products entirely. Eating leavened bread during the seven days is forbidden, with severe penalties mentioned (e.g., being "cut off" from the people). (Exodus 12:15–20; 13:7) Eat unleavened bread (matzah) — For seven days, eat only matzah. Specifically, there is a positive commandment to eat matzah on the first night of Passover. (Exodus 12:15, 18, 20; Deuteronomy 16:3, 8) Observe the festival for seven days — The first and seventh days (in the Diaspora, first, second, seventh, and eighth) are holy convocations with no work allowed (except food preparation). (Exodus 12:16; Leviticus 23:6–8) Tell the story of the Exodus — You must recount the events of the deliverance from Egypt to your children on that night. This is the basis for the Haggadah's storytelling. (Exodus 12:26–27; 13:8, 14; Deuteronomy 6:20–25) Eat bitter herbs (maror) — In the original biblical command, this was part of the Passover meal with the sacrificial lamb. (Exodus 12:8) The Passover sacrifice (Korban Pesach) — In Temple times, a lamb or goat was sacrificed on the 14th of Nisan at twilight, eaten roasted that night with matzah and bitter herbs, with strict rules (no bones broken, not taken outside the house, etc.). This is central in Exodus 12 but cannot be performed today without the Temple. (Exodus 12:3–11, 21–27; Numbers 9:1–14) Other elements like the four cups of wine, the Seder plate's full setup (karpas, charoset, etc.), reclining, or specific Haggadah readings are important Jewish customs (minhagim) developed over centuries in rabbinic tradition to fulfill or enhance the biblical commands—but they are not explicitly required in the Torah itself. The holiday commemorates the Exodus from Egypt, the "passing over" of Israelite homes during the tenth plague, and freedom from slavery. Observance is an eternal statute commanded by God (Exodus 12:14, 17, 24). In modern practice (without the Temple), the focus is on matzah, maror, removing chametz, the Seder retelling, and resting on the holy days. Many Jews today emphasize these biblical requirements while incorporating rich traditional customs. It's a festive, interactive family meal held on the first night (or first two nights outside Israel) of the holiday. The purpose is to fulfill the biblical commandment to tell the story of the Exodus from Egypt to your children and household (Exodus 13:8), reliving the journey from slavery to freedom as if we ourselves were liberated. The Seder follows a structured order laid out in the Haggadah ( the special book used for the evening), which includes prayers, blessings, songs, symbolic foods, discussions, and the retelling of the Exodus story. It typically lasts 2–4 hours (or longer in some homes), blending serious reflection, joy, food, wine, and family participation. Key Elements on the Table Before diving into the steps, here's what you usually see: Seder plate (with symbolic items): Maror (bitter herbs, like horseradish) → bitterness of slavery Chazeret (another bitter vegetable, often romaine lettuce) Zeroa (shank bone or roasted chicken neck) → Passover sacrifice Beitzah (roasted egg) → mourning for the Temple / new life Karpas (green vegetable, like parsley or celery) → spring/renewal Charoset (sweet mixture of apples, nuts, wine) → mortar used by slaves Matzah (three or more unleavened breads, often in a cover) Salt water (for dipping karpas, symbolizing tears of slavery) Four cups of wine (or grape juice) → represent four expressions of redemption Exodus 21 Then Moses called all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Go and select lambs for yourselves according to your clans, and kill the Passover lamb. 22 Take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood that is in the basin , and touch the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. None of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning. 23 For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to enter your houses to strike you. 24 You shall observe this rite as a statute for you and for your sons forever. 25 And when you come to the land that the Lord will give you, as he has promised, you shall keep this service. 26 And when your children say to you, ‘What do you mean by this service?’ 27 you shall say, ‘It is the sacrifice of the Lord’s Passover, for he passed over the houses of the people of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians but spared our houses.’” And the people bowed their heads and worshiped. 28 Then the people of Israel went and did so; as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did. The Tenth Plague: Death of the Firstborn 29 At midnight the Lord struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of the livestock. 30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he and all his servants and all the Egyptians. And there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where someone was not dead. 31 Then he summoned Moses and Aaron by night and said, “Up, go out from among my people, both you and the people of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as you have said. 32 Take your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone, and bless me also!” The Exodus 33 The Egyptians were urgent with the people to send them out of the land in haste. For they said, “We shall all be dead.” 34 So the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading bowls being bound up in their cloaks on their shoulders. 35 The people of Israel had also done as Moses told them, for they had asked the Egyptians for silver and gold jewelry and for clothing. 36 And the Lord had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. Thus they plundered the Egyptians. 37 And the people of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children. 38 A mixed multitude also went up with them, and very much livestock, both flocks and herds. 39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough that they had brought out of Egypt, for it was not leavened, because they were thrust out of Egypt and could not wait, nor had they prepared any provisions for themselves. 40 The time that the people of Israel lived in Egypt was 430 years. 41 At the end of 430 years, on that very day, all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. 42 It was a night of watching by the Lord, to bring them out of the land of Egypt; so this same night is a night of watching kept to the Lord by all the people of Israel throughout their generations. Institution of the Passover 43 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “This is the statute of the Passover: no foreigner shall eat of it, 44 but every slave b that is bought for money may eat of it after you have circumcised him. 45 No foreigner or hired worker may eat of it. 46 It shall be eaten in one house; you shall not take any of the flesh outside the house, and you shall not break any of its bones. 47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. 48 If a stranger shall sojourn with you and would keep the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised. Then he may come near and keep it; he shall be as a native of the land. But no uncircumcised person shall eat of it. 49 There shall be one law for the native and for the stranger who sojourns among you.” 50 All the people of Israel did just as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron. 51 And on that very day the Lord brought the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.
